On Tuesday 14 October at the Bolton Wanderers Football Club, the inaugural Housing Executive awards were held.

EVO were delighted to be awarded the Partnership of the Year award alongside our partner The Industrial Dwellings Society.

The award recognises the transformation of repairs and maintenance services across IDS’s 1,400+ property portfolio. Resident feedback has been outstanding, resolution times have been significantly reduced and communication with residents greatly improved.

Reflecting on the win, Steven Rae, CEO of EVO, commented on the team effort behind the win, “This award is due to the tireless hard work of all the staff on the front line who provide the highest levels of service and improve the lives of residents. We are extremely proud of what we have achieved together in this digital resident-centric partnership.”

Richard Smith, Director of Operations at IDS said “We are thrilled that our partnership with EVO has been recognised with this award. What makes this collaboration so special is that it’s truly a joint effort - built on openness, innovation, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement. Together, we’re not just enhancing the way we deliver repairs; we’re shaping a service that genuinely responds to residents’ needs and makes a real difference to their experience of living in our homes.”

Feedback from residents has been equally positive with many reflecting on the improvement in repairs and maintenance with one resident commenting that she “couldn’t fault any part of the service” she received and “ will measure everyone else up to this one experience.”
